Clarification on questions arising:

Do you want us to submit a tender and a pre qualification questionnaire before 18th January?
The notice is a request for expressions of interest and a pre qualification process only.

We are interested in tendering for this project and ask that you confirm that modular construction, subject to us meeting the full specification, is acceptable to the client?
Modular Construction is not the form of construction for the development of the enterprise centre building. The drawings attached to the request for expressions of interest outline the proposed development and proposed construction methods.

Further to the notice In relation to this project, we note under 4.1, the type of procedure is stated as OPEN. Under section 8 of ‘DEC Ltd EOI December 2009.pdf’ that there are ‘prequalification’ requirements, which would imply that the type of procedure should be RESTRICTED. Could you please clarify this situation?
Dungarvan Enterprise Centre Ltd herein clarify that a Restricted procedure (under 4.1 of the notice) is being used.
The Request for Expressions of Interest is open to all applicants. However, as stated in the document DEC Ltd EOI December 2009 up to five but not more than ten qualifying bidders will be requested to tender for construction of the Dungarvan Enterprise Centre. Requests to Tender will, following the evaluation of the EOI, be issued to the shortlisted bidders.

Is there a formal PQQ / SAQ such as the Department of Finance QW1 or do we just follow the criteria require under section 8?
