Dungarvan was glad to welcome over 170 delegates from 16 countries to the Global Intelligence Forum, which was hosted by Mercyhurst College, Erie Pennsylvania, in July 2010.

The Department of Transport is running a Smarter Travel Area competition for Local Authorities throughout Ireland. Through the national smarter travel initiative, €50million will be put in place over 5 years to help make the change from cars to healthier and more sustainable ways of commuting.
